Monoammonium Phosphate (MAP)

MONOAMMONIUM PHOSPHATE (MAP)
ICL MAP – High-Phosphorus Fertiliser for Precision Agriculture

Consistent NP Nutrition in Every Granule
ICL’s Monoammonium Phosphate (MAP) delivers 12% nitrogen (N) and 61% phosphorus (P₂O₅) in pure crystalline form, providing the highest phosphorus content of any common solid fertiliser. Each granule is optimised for rapid plant uptake, supporting vigorous early growth and root development.

Rapid Solubility & Soil Adaptability
MAP dissolves completely in water (370 g/L at 20°C), making it ideal for:
• Fertigation systems – Zero residue for drip irrigation.
• Acidic soil correction – pH 4-4.5 helps neutralise alkaline soils.
• Band/blend applications – Compatible with most fertilisers.

Advanced Technology Benefits
• Low salinity index – Safe for salt-sensitive crops.
• High-purity feedstock – Used in lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery production.
• Controlled-release options – Agrocote® coated MAP available for 1-2 month nutrient delivery.

Formula: Monoammonium Phosphate (12-61-0)
• Nitrogen (N): 12% (Ammonium form) – Steady release.
• Phosphorus (P₂O₅): 61% – Orthophosphate for immediate uptake.
• Sulphur (S): Trace – Supports protein synthesis.

Ideal For:
• Starter fertilisation (maize, wheat) – Promotes early root growth.
• High-value crops (vegetables, fruits) – Enhances flowering/fruit set.
• LFP battery production – High-purity grade available.

Do you know the nutrient content of your soil?

Ensuring your soil is a healthy and productive medium for your crops is among the most important things you can do as a farmer. Without the correct levels of nutrients, crops won’t achieve their maximum yield potential. Understanding your soil nutrients is a critical first step before purchasing fertilisers or other inputs (that you may not need!)
