Diammonium Phosphate (DAP)

DIAMMONIUM PHOSPHATE (DAP)
DGL DAP – Premium NP Fertiliser for Strong Root Early Growth

Consistent NP Nutrition in Every Granule
DGL DAP delivers a powerful combination of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P₂O₅) in every granule, providing the essential foundation for vigorous early crop development. Its high phosphorus content makes it particularly effective for stimulating strong root systems in young plants.

Rapid Soil Action & Nutrient Availability
DAP granules dissolve quickly upon application, making both nitrogen and phosphorus immediately available to plants. The ammonium nitrogen helps reduce nutrient losses through volatilisation, while the phosphate component remains highly plant-available in most Ghanaian soil conditions.

Advanced Formulation Technology
• Highly concentrated NP fertiliser for efficient application.
• Low-chloride formula suitable for sensitive crops.
• Granular form ensures even distribution with standard equipment.

Formula: Diammonium Phosphate (18-46-0)
• Nitrogen (N): 18% – Supports vigorous vegetative growth.
• Phosphorus (P₂O₅): 46% - Essential for root development and energy transfer.
• pH: 7.5-8.0 (Helps neutralize acidic soils).

Ideal For:
• Cereal crops (maize, rice, wheat) at planting
• Vegetable transplants (tomatoes, peppers)
• Tree crops (cocoa, oil palm) during establishment
• All crops requiring phosphorus boost

Do you know the nutrient content of your soil?

Ensuring your soil is a healthy and productive medium for your crops is among the most important things you can do as a farmer. Without the correct levels of nutrients, crops won’t achieve their maximum yield potential. Understanding your soil nutrients is a critical first step before purchasing fertilisers or other inputs (that you may not need!)
