CALCIUM NITRATE
DGL Calcium Nitrate – Premium Water-Soluble Calcium & Nitrogen Fertiliser

DGL Calcium Nitrate provides an optimal combination of fully water-soluble calcium (CaO) and fast-acting nitrate nitrogen (NO₃⁻). This dual-nutrient formula delivers immediately available calcium to strengthen cell walls while providing nitrogen in its most plant-available form, promoting both structural integrity and vigorous growth.

With exceptional solubility (1290 g/L at 20°C), this fertiliser is ideal for fertigation systems and foliar applications, ensuring rapid nutrient uptake without clogging irrigation equipment. The nitrate nitrogen enhances calcium absorption and mobility within the plant, preventing calcium deficiency disorders even during periods of rapid growth.

The neutral pH and chloride-free composition make it safe for all crops, particularly calcium-demanding species. It effectively prevents blossom-end rot in tomatoes and peppers, bitter pit in apples, and tip burn in leafy greens while improving fruit firmness and post-harvest quality.

Formula: Calcium Nitrate (Ca(NO₃)₂) 15.5-0-0 + 26% CaO
• Nitrogen (N): 15.5% – 100% nitrate form.
• Calcium (CaO): 26% – Fully water-soluble.
• Solubility: 1290 g/L at 20°C.

𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝗿:
• Fruit crops (tomatoes, apples, strawberries) – Prevents calcium disorders.
• Leafy vegetables (lettuce, cabbage) – Reduces tip burn.
• Greenhouse crops – Fertigation during fruiting stages.
• Alkaline soils – Improves calcium availability.

Do you know the nutrient content of your soil?

Ensuring your soil is a healthy and productive medium for your crops is among the most important things you can do as a farmer. Without the correct levels of nutrients, crops won’t achieve their maximum yield potential. Understanding your soil nutrients is a critical first step before purchasing fertilisers or other inputs (that you may not need!)
