Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (CAN)

CALCIUM AMMONIUM NITRATE (CAN)
DGL CAN – Premium Nitrogen & Calcium Fertiliser for Balanced Growth

Consistent N & Ca Nutrition in Every Granule
DGL CAN delivers a uniform blend of 28% nitrogen (N) and 10% calcium (CaO) in every granule, ensuring balanced nutrition for crops. The nitrogen combines fast-acting nitrate and intermediate-release ammonium forms, providing both immediate and sustained feeding for continuous growth without nutrient spikes.

Rapid Dissolution & Adaptability
DGL CAN's granule technology ensures quick dissolution upon contact with moisture, whether from irrigation or rainfall. Its high solubility allows efficient nutrient uptake in various soil conditions, while the calcium carbonate component helps maintain optimal soil pH levels.

Advanced Nitrogen Technology
• Dual-form nitrogen (50% nitrate, 50% ammonium) for balanced availability.
• Calcium carbonate coating reduces nitrogen loss through volatilisation.
• pH-neutral formula prevents soil acidification.
• Suitable for fertigation and foliar applications.

Formula: Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (28-0-0 + 10% Ca)
• Nitrogen (N): 28% - Promotes vigorous vegetative growth.
• Calcium (CaO): 10% - Strengthens cell walls and prevents disorders.
• Magnesium (MgO): 4% (in some formulations) - Supports chlorophyll production.

Ideal For:
• Cereal crops (maize, wheat, rice).
• Vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, brassicas).
• Fruit crops (citrus, apples, grapes).
• All crops requiring calcium and nitrogen.

Do you know the nutrient content of your soil?

Ensuring your soil is a healthy and productive medium for your crops is among the most important things you can do as a farmer. Without the correct levels of nutrients, crops won’t achieve their maximum yield potential. Understanding your soil nutrients is a critical first step before purchasing fertilisers or other inputs (that you may not need!)
